 Keiths bottom loading FastHeat furnace is a workhorse for research, prototyping, and small parts production to 1700 C. Heating elements surround the load on four sides for greater temperature uniformity. A smooth linear elevator hearth lifting system raises the load into the furnace chamber, which facilitates hot or cold loading and unloading.
Standard sizes are available ranging from 9, 12 and 15 inches cubed. The sizes specified reflect the actual usable furnace workspace. Special modifications are offered making it possible for you to use the bottom loading Keith FastHeat for a wide variety of applications, including materials testing and research, glass and metal melting, high temperature processing, sintering of ceramics and metals, co-firing multi-layer components, and most any application that requires precise control of temperature to 1700 C.

 Insulation System
A high alumina ceramic fiber lining is designed to provide optimum insulation values and maximum service life. Keith's proprietary fiber design allows for the thermal expansion and contraction that the fiber undergoes at elevated temperatures and during cooling. This special construction insures minimum bending stresses for the material while reducing the otherwise destructive cracking of the walls.
Heating System
More durable heating elements are found in the Keith FastHeat than in many similar furnaces. A large number of molybdenum disilicide heating elements surround the load on four sides for maximum temperature uniformity. These elements are twice the normal diameter, that gives them added mechanical strength and a longer service life.
 Furnace Controls
All furnace controls are conveniently located in a base mounted control panel where they are easy to view and operate. Solid-state digital indicating PID temperature controllers are used for precise temperature control to within one degree. All furnaces include overtemperature protection, and the controllers are equipped with broken thermocouple protection. Many control options are available.
