KMI Refractories is a division of Keith Company, the one-stop source for all your heating product needs. 

KMI is a full-service stocking distributor of refractory products, a refractory contractor for tear-out and installation of refractory materials, and a designer and manufacturer of custom fiber modules, insulating panels, and refractory shapes.  In Southern California, Keith is the stocking distributor for Thermal Ceramics. 

In 2002 KMI merged into Keith Company, a manufacturer of high temperature furnace equipment.  KMI and Keith provide 80 years of combined refractory experience, superior engineering and field support capabilities, and a cost efficient organization that keeps our prices low. 

The range of projects successfully completed by KMI includes replacing rocket launch pads at Vandenberg Air Force base, as well as the refractory inside large reverb furnaces, boiler doors, car shuttle and tunnel kilns, regenerative thermal oxidizers, and much more.  We are also uniquely qualified to provide certified material when needed, such as those required by commercial aircraft and aerospace companies.  We attribute our success to our many years of experience, high quality products, and a staff of friendly and knowledgeable process-heating professionals who are eager to be of service.
