A Keith bottom loading furnace is the centerpiece of our Automated PCD Bit Processing System. This rugged and dependable furnace has been used in diamond tool bit manufacturing operations around the world for more than 30 years.
Many refinements and special capabilities are incorporated into the design of this furnace to provide superior process control, operator safety, manufacturing efficiency, and operating economy. For example, the cook block and surrounding refractory materials are engineered to withstand corrosive binder spills and facilitate cleanup. Also, heating systems are designed to rapidly and uniformly heat mold assemblies to temperature, thereby maximizing furnace throughput.
BENEFITS
- Precise, repeatable, and uniform temperature control
- Energy efficient refractory and heating systems
- Many special features and capabilities are standard
- Designed to minimize and facilitate maintenance
